Our next game was against the number 1 ranked team from pool 2, Cobham.
This game was nothing like our other encounters with them in the past, winning In our last match of the day we won again, this time against Chisnallwood with a score line of 32 — After this game was over we had a break and then it was time for the presentation of the certificates. We sat for a while giving applause then it was our time. It felt great to get some success at the end of the year. On behalf of the team I would like to thank Mr Evers for running the day so well and Mr Robinson, Jane Newton for all the hard work they put in for us over the year.
We won our first game and continued our great teamwork for the remainder of the day.

We finished at a close 5th which was enough to get us into the B grade. With our arms and shoulders aching from the previous day of hard work we walked into the now familiar venue. We raced over to the scoreboard to see who won on count back points, but it was St.

The whole experience of playing in a proper tournament was amazing. When we got there, there were 18 teams, some were all the way from Invercargill and Ashburton but most were from Christchurch. In each team there were 8 players. As the games went by, we worked as a team, and got better and better. By the end we had won a total of 6 games over two days and came third in pool B which was an amazing effort.
But the best thing was that everyone had fun.

We looked across the courts ecstatically ready to play our first game. When the ball was tipped I was filled with excitement and nerves as our first game in Tauranga started, we were playing Howick and we were ready to win. But we still came 19th out of 53 teams!Episode 6 - HeatoN Counter-Strike Tips & Tricks - Config and Gear
And Tauranga was a great experience for me and my teammates and I wish I could do it again next year. The course started with a 2.
About 1km of the bike was incredibly difficult uphill and it ended with a rutty downhill that had caused many people to fall off. The last part of the course was a 1km kayak and then a tiring sprint to the finish line. We landed in Auckland on Sunday morning and jumped straight on the bus, everyone was so excited to get to Tauranga. When we got there we hung around at the beach had an awesome Copenhagen ice-cream and headed over to the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was amazing, the head of The Aims games spoke and then there were some outstanding performances from Benny Tipene, King, and the world champion hip hop team.
Some of us were a bit nervous but I was lucky because I had the same ones as last year. When we turned up to the turf the next day we were all a bit nervous, but we went out there and played amazingly against Auckland Dio and came out with a win, After that game we all went back to the house and relaxed until our next game that day, Otumoetai who came second last year. We were all a bit tired, missed heaps of shots and ended up with a draw.
