The Chiefs average 35 points per game, and the Patriots seem to have figured things out, having scored 38 points in consecutive weeks. That man, is, of course, Josh McDaniels, the man with whom Brady shares a fairly special connection.

And though the two men are no doubt scheming to put up a significant yardage total and score a ton of points against the Chiefs, the preparation this week likely involves a little something more: Though the Patriots for years have been known for a high-tempo, no-huddle offensive approach, a common scene this season — particularly in the first and third quarters of games — has been Brady calmly taking the play call from the sideline, slowly approaching the huddle, breaking out of that huddle and allowing the play clock to dip into the single digits.
While the no-huddle approach is still available, particularly as the team tries to score before halftime, the Patriots appear to have taken a more deliberate approach on offense.
The strategy in the victories perhaps was motivated by necessity. Without Julian Edelman, the offense was not at full power. Now with Edelman and the explosive potential of Josh Gordon on the outside, the Patriots may start to play a bit quicker.
That may be the right move. But not this week. But it probably should be resisted.

I'd be willing to ante up for him this week. He has seen 31 targets since Darnold's return, and he's averaging yards and a touchdown in those three weeks. He doesn't have quite the same level of momentum going for him as Anderson, but he has at least 50 yards in three of his last five games, and he popped last week for 82 yards and a touchdown on seven targets.
Against a defense that has had its issues with tight ends in the passing game -- particularly in the red zone -- he's a nice option this week.

Too many questions, especially over the course of the last two weeks with Gordon out and the receiver group thinned. Since beating Green Bay -- a game in which White had to leave briefly with an apparent knee injury -- he's cracked 31 yards receiving once in six games.
He hasn't been on the injury report, missed practice time or game action, but I wonder if the number of touches he's received 90 carries already, more than double his previous career-high of 43 have taken their toll. He seemed somewhat resigned to the fact that he is what he is at this point and that -- while he's going to be "all-in" -- he's not going to beat himself when he doesn't perform like Superman.Does Tom Brady deserve backlash for losing his temper with Josh McDaniels? - UNDISPUTED
In a game where he could likely see a lot of Jamal Adams, as he did a few weeks ago at MetLife Stadium, I wouldn't expect super-human fantasy production.
